I Want It All

Love is formless
Unrestricted
Taking shape of the longing heart,
Overcoming barriers of language
Unresponsive by Time’s regions.
A crawling stream, or
Resting ocean
With arms outstretched;
Manifestation of learning intelligence
Flowing from heart to heart
This Love desires closeness
Warmth from skin as we cuddle,
Conversations filling air, my
Fingers coming odes through hair
Your head perched on bicep
Eyes staring into mine.
I’m a simple man with simple needs
Having you near is my only dream

Years Have Passed; My Heart Longs for the Same

You’re safe
Every rising light
Within the walls of my embrace
Waking
Facing your silken skin
Placing gentle kisses on forehead;
Awaiting to hear
Of where you ventured
During yesternight’s reverie.
(I love
When your voice graces my lobes
Sharing your inner most workings)
Affection lives
Within every cells of my being;
Every nucleus enclosed membrane
Hungers to give you love;
Needing to give all of me

Comforted By Moon’s Eyes

As evening prepares
Room for waiting darkened sky
I stand on land’s edge
Contemplating
What needs
To be done,
Brimful with elation of
What awaits within orbit;
I’ve become one with sand
As it swallows ankles
Reminding of what’s been promised.
Now
Is time
For rest;
Best is yet to come
Like rising sun
Love’s wings
Flare in distant trees.
Humbled, I will fall upon knees

Pouring Emptiness Into Wind

Heaviness
Takes breath hostage
Leaving me hollow
Lying on back in moist soil
Gasping for breath; love.
Empty fingers
Plucking at nonexistent violin
For my lungs
Can’t expel carbon dioxide rich air
With lingering traces of gin.
My love
I need you here;
To hold me
As I piece myself together
Your warmth
Your smell
I need all of it,
Today I’m lost amongst the rubble
Searching for traces of sun
In the dust of rusted stones

Evening Rain Awaiting Night

Consumed with heaviness
Moon closes eyes
As she weeps silent love;
Her precipitation awaits no approval
cooling fragments of longing
Bask in its damp embrace
As bits of liquid heaven
Flutters toward soil
Soothing ground
Until night returns
And the moon can dominate welkin
With her delicate fragrance
Bathing landscape
In sliver paint; Reflecting
every bead of residue precipitation
Lingering on each blade of grass
Hardening into glass
Soft within its grasp
